Meet Monique Shim

Get to know our 2021 team, Monique Shim:

Hey guys! I am Monique! I love being active and I always have to be moving. I also like to read and I to solving problems. I love spending time with my family and hanging out with friends.

Basketball is my passion. So far this summer, I have played lots of basketball with my brother and done tons of workouts to improve in the areas I need to work on.

An interesting thing about me is that I am part Hawaiian. I have a Hawaiian middle name which is “Ku’u Nohea Maka O’lani” which means ‘my lovely eyes of heaven’.
